Project & Team Oversight: Because I've worked on integrated teams for so long, I also understand how decisions by the whole team may affect site issues and specialize in overseeing them. Your green building consultant will be mostly knowledgeable about your buildings; I can steward your site. (For instance, are you shading the air conditioner? If you plant a tree in the right place, you get all the ecosystem services (stormwater management, air quality, soil quality, property value) while increasing the efficiency of your air conditioner by 10% and probably reducing the overall energy demand of the building.)

Technical Assitance: I can assist specific team members by pointing them to tools and research that will help us meet our goals for the site.

Design: I can create project-specific materials to be included on deliverables such as details, specifications, and graphics to expand on creative solutions.

Construction: I can oversee construction with other members of your team or just recommend a construction oversight schedule for the team that will ensure that someone knowledgeable is present when tricky or crucial components are constructed or installed.

Operations & Maintenance: This is a crucial and often overlooked step in the overall sustainability of the site. I can make recommendations for how to operate and maintain green infrastructure.

Cost Savings : I help you make decisions that'll give you the most bang for your buck.

Decision Making: I provide you with information based on best available thinking of the day and on actual science, if I can get my little grubby hands on the right research.

Green Electronic Library Development: The materials I create are open-source, in a sense, meaning that anyone on the team may use them as-is or modified on the current project or may use them as-is or in a modified form for any future project (without giving me any credit for the source material, which makes them look smart!)
